Keep your UTV's CVT belt running cool and extend its lifespan with the Rugged Routes UTV Belt Temp Sensor for Lowrance off-road GPS units. This infrared belt temp sensor is a simple and effective accessory that enables UTV enthusiasts and racers to monitor their CVT belt's real-time surface temperature, allowing them to adjust their driving style to prevent belt failure and prolong belt life.
By displaying the infrared belt temp gauge on the screen of the Lowrance GPS unit, the sensor saves dashboard space and is easier to install than standalone gauges. The belt temp gauge can display temperature as an analog or digital readout with various gauge size options and screen positions.
Rugged Routes’ UTV Belt Temp Sensor suits all CVT belt-driven UTVs, including Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick X3, and Kawasaki Teryx and KRX with an easy install. The sensor is a small cube and contours to the belt cover with a 3/16-inch thick waterproof closed cell foam and easily sticks on with a high-strength waterproof adhesive by 3M.
Installing the sensor is a breeze; simply drill a 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch hole in the plastic belt cover above the center of your belt and stick the sensor onto the clean surface of the belt cover. It connects to the N2K network just like a Point-1 Baja Antenna and enables the option to add a belt temp gauge screen overlay recognized by the GPS unit as Transmission Temp.
Rugged Routes UTV Belt Temp Sensor is compatible with all Lowrance HDS Gen 2 or newer GPS systems with NMEA2K connections, including Lowrance HDS Gen2, Gen3, Carbon, Live and newer - All Sizes, Elite Ti, Ti2, and FS and newer.
